This Crystallized Essential Oil Essence is extraordinary! Made of undiluted Highest Grade PATCHOULI essential oil and refined styrax resin, this Patchouli Essence is an earthy infusion of patchouli essential oil in a special formulation with sacred Amber Essence. The resulting fragrance has a rare and mellow wine-like bouquet.

PATCHOULI ESSENCE is ideal for use during meditation. Its healing essence is its ability to calm one's mind while heightening the physical senses.

PATCHOULI (Pogostemon cablin) has a long history of use in the East, where it is reknowned as a spiritually elevating scent and as a sweet, musky and evocative body fragrance. A tropical member of the mint family, Patchouli is native to India & Malaysia. The essential oil, steam distilled from the dried leaves, produces a thick, orange-brown liquid which improves with age.

Crystallized essences are made with a base of refined Styrax tree resin into which essential oils are infused, pressed and crystallized. The original process was developed centuries ago by an ayurvedic physician for the manufacture of amber, which was originally created as a stress relieving and mood-enhancing compound. Now each crystallized essence is produced in a time-honored tradition by a fourth generation amber making family in Northern India.

During this process only the highest grade essential oils are infused into these crystallized essences.... (not the low grade oils used for the most part in the cosmetic industry within the United States.) The oils used in our crystallized essences and blends are medicinal grade oils from European countries like France where steam distillation of essential oils is highly controlled by governmental regulations.

Crystallized essences are easy to use as solid perfumes by taking a small amount and rubbing it onto your skin. Ones such as Amber, Cedar, Desert Balsam, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Ylang Ylang are ideal for enhancing your awareness during meditation. Alternatively, you may use any crystallized essence as a drawer, closet or room sachet. Ensure freshness by keeping essences away from heat and sunlight, preferably in the accompanying handcarved rosewood container in which your essence will arrive. These essences are for external use only.

Directions for body usage: Remove crystallized essence from handcarved rosewood container. Rub essence on any skin area when used for simple perfume purposes.
